FASS/RD Watt buildings – Uni of Sydney

The University of Sydney’s historic campus is considered among the finest in the world, and the spectacular new Faculty of Arts & Social Sciences (FASS) building can only add to its reputation. Comprising six storeys which house a research centre, lecture theatre, general teaching spaces, office and meeting rooms and a rooftop terrace, this bronzed glass-clad sustainable building transforms the City Road entry and is linked by a new awning structure to the adjacent century-old RD Watt building, which is also undergoing external heritage restoration and roof works. Drawable provided vital drafting services for this state-of-the-art project, generating 3D Revit models for the full electrical design including the power, lighting, comms, NBN and emergency lighting layouts and line diagrams.
