After languishing in disrepair for many years, a 22-hectare shipping yard on east Darling Harbour began its transformation into the Barangaroo precinct in 2012, with completion to coincide with the opening of the Sydney Metro in 2024. The three ‘International Towers’ on the site already make a spectacular contribution to the city skyline, and Drawable has contributed drafting and Revit modelling services to Barangaroo since the early days of construction. Energy provider Origin took on the tenancy of three levels in Tower One, engaging a long-term Drawable customer to install the electrical and security systems. As well as providing as built BIM for the power, data, lighting, access control and CCTV, Drawable also documented the complex underfloor cable pathways.
